Chesna graduated from UWA in 2009 after which she spent three years training in multiple Perth hospitals as well as Geraldton Regional Hospital before beginning her training as a GP.
Her main areas of interest are General Practice, Skin Cancer Diagnosis and Surgery, and Sexual Health. She enjoys problem solving for her patients to help improve their lives and health. An area she would improve on in Health Industry if provided the chance would be to make it easier for Rural Patients to access better healthcare, weather it be GP consultations or Specialist treatments.
When Chesna can’t be found at the Practice treating patients, she can be found preforming minor surgery at the Suncity Skin Cancer Clinic taking and when off duty, taking in one of Geraldton’s many stunning sunsets, sailing the coastline. She is currently volunteering as a foster carer for the Geraldton Dog Rescue.
