Dr Pippin Holmes graduated with Honours from the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has completed further postgraduate training with the Skin Cancer College Australasia, holding the Certificate of Dermoscopy (an important technique for detecting skin cancers) and the Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine.
Pippin is passionate about teaching the next generation of doctors and is the Lead Medical Coordinator and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Rural Clinical School of Western Australia (RCSWA) in Geraldton. She was recognised with the Western Australian Medical Students’ Society’s 2022 Clinical Tutor of the Year Award and the 2023 Geraldton Medical Officers Society Contribution to Medical Students Award. She is currently completing further postgraduate study in Health Professionals Education through the University of Western Australia.
Born and raised on her family’s farm in the Midwest, Pippin still enjoys spending her free time there.
Pippin also works next door at Suncity Skin Cancer Clinic and while she is undertaking this training and performing her roles at RCSWA, she has limited availability at MAMS.
