Consultation Fees

Many consultations are fully or partially  covered by Medicare for those patients holding a current Medicare card. Private patients can expect to pay a consultation fee.

Those currently under concession are offered a discounted rate off of their appointments.  Please note: Midwest Aero Medical does not routinely Bulk Bill its patients and all weekend appointments will be charged a full consult fee.

Certain consultations are not covered by Medicare. These include all Medicals, INR Instant Testing, Ear Irrigation’s, Drug and Alcohol Screening and some wound care. These are to be paid at the time if consultation as we do not offer accounts. Please check with Reception whilst booking to discuss fees.

Appointments with your usual GP are preferred for your routine care. Should you require an appointment for multiple issues, full medical examinations or if you are bringing the family with you please respect your fellow patients and inform our reception staff so that an extended appointment time can be scheduled. We do not offer over the phone consultations. Emergencies will be attended to as a priority. Please remember in case of an emergency, call 000 or Geraldton Hospital on (08) 9956 2222.
